Congratulations to Brenda Schimke on the excellent opinion piece in the Sept. 8, 2022 issue of the ECA Review, titled ‘Health care delivery shows UCP’s arrogant ignorance’, pg. 2.
I think she covered problems caused by the UCP in health care as well as I have seen anywhere and I would like to see her editorial in every newspaper in Alberta.
Our health care workers are excellent but they are being overworked to the point of exhaustion in many cases, and government cutbacks seem to be the cause of this.
Schimke’s editorial did a very good job of highlighting the difference between “efficiency” and “performance” as it relates to many areas of health care.
I look forward to more excellent editorials in your newspaper.
