Letter to Chair of Friends of Dorothy,
I saw the article in the [ECA] Review about your efforts to save and restore history.
My husband (late) was born in Wayne on Oct. 3, 1929 to Danish immigrants who settled there briefly before buying a homestead north of Wainwright, near the Battle River.
Over the years we visited in the area, first with our children, and later took the grandkids to see the dinosaurs and stopped along the way at Wayne saloon, the bridges, etc.
I wish you much success in your endeavours. It is important to keep and restore history.
[Enclosed was a cheque for $500 to assist in your restoration project.]
