Ian Shemanski is pretty happy he added the EXTRA to his LOTTO MAX Free Play ticket.
The British Columbia resident won $250,042 on the July 16 draw.
Shemanski said now that he’s more than $250,000 richer, he’s looking forward to completing some home renovations.
“I want to do a couple things around the house,” he said. “Aside from that, I’m just happy to have a little extra security in my retirement.”
Shemanski purchased his winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket at Hardisty Esso, located at 4745 49 Street, in Hardisty.
He won his $250,042 prize by matching all seven digits of the EXTRA number on the July 16 draw – 1580308.
