Loving mother and grandmother, Alice-Jean (Barnhill) White, 94, of Stettler Alta. passed away on Jan. 20, 2024.
Alice-Jean was born on Aug. 30, 1929 to Alexander and Alice (Monroe) Barnhill in Wetaskiwin, Alta.
She married Ray White June 23, 1951. They built their home in Stettler, raising three children: Alan, Gary and Bruce White.
Alan had three children, Cheri and Mackenzie with first wife Patti (Blomquist) and son, Regan with his widow, Lois (Poitras).
Alice-Jean was predeceased by her husband Ray White, son Alan White and brother Al Barnhill.
She is survived by her sons; Gary White of Edmonton and Bruce White (Wendy) of Red Deer, her grandchildren; Cheri (Scott) Treasure of Edmonton, Mackenzie White of Utah, Regan (Lindsay) White-O’Neil of Calgary.
Also great-grandchildren; Jonah, Maxwell, Vivian and Henry Treasure, Tenly, Clark and Amy White, and Everett White-O’Neil; as well as other family and dear friends.
A Come and Go Social for Alice-Jean will be held on Monday, Aug. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stettler Funeral Home, Stettler, Alta.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to an organization of their choice.
