Dear Editor,
Regarding the April 12 letter to the editor, “Based on facts, not opinions’ pg. 6, April 13, the author appears to have selectively omitted the intact definition of the word “minions”, which he cites in reference to 74 million Trump voters, I am happy to help out with the “facts”.
Oxford Languages defines “minions” as, “followers or underlings, ‘especially’ a servile or unimportant one”.
Three of the four interpretations, being of a derogatory and disrespectful connotation, which would obviously be the “empirical” intention that most people “especially” associate with the word “minions”, eh?
And the way I see it, the truth is that Donald Trump, rather than treating his voters as underlings or unimportant serviles, in fact, intends to restore the power back to the American people as was the original design of the US Constitution.
Of course, much to the chagrin of the leftist bureaucratic swamp of Washington DC, as well as CNN, MSNBC, ABC, PBS, and the New York Times, which in my view have pretty much abandoned investigative reporting outside of whatever fits their narrative, and become little more than political propaganda arms of the radical Democrat Party.
Here is another fact, Lavrentiy Beria, ruthless head of Joseph Stalin’s secret police, once said, “Show me the man, and I’ll find you the crime”, which is the very method I believe being employed today by the radical Democrats, with Biden for a puppet, in order to prevent Trump’s return to the White House.
I don’t think many people actually believe Biden is calling the shots on anything. Nor do I believe Trump has done anything that wasn’t committed by many before, such as Bill Clinton (while inside the White House, no less), John F. Kennedy, FDR, etc.
I believe there is a dark reason for Trump’s indictment, as opposed to all the rest who walked away from their misdeeds.
Logic would point to it being a radical leftist attempt to interfere in the next election (a constitutionally criminal act) to try to stop him from regaining power.
Democrat New York DA, Alvin Bragg, even campaigned on the mantra that if elected he would get Trump. That doesn’t strike me as either blind justice or democracy. However, the scheme already appears to have backfired on them anyway.
Another truth as I see it, the leftist media were also election meddling in knowingly covering up the Biden family influence-pedaling to China, Russia and Ukraine, by calling the incriminating Hunter Biden laptop, “Russian disinformation”.
It’s a fact that the very real laptop is now in the hands of the FBI, whom no one is holding their breath for it to be acted upon. As a result the US now has a president who, in my opinion, is compromised to our enemies. Not good.
It’s pretty obvious to me that a corrupt radical leftist administration has weaponized the DOJ, FBI, and IRS, against their political opponents including Donald Trump, in an attempt to subjugate and brow beat the American people into going along with their Marxist dictums.
And one more truth. I take exception to the insinuation that I am somehow antisemitic, white supremacist, or a supporter of Hitler. Retribution for failing to agree with the author’s views? What unfounded and utterly baseless print, when members of my family served in WW2. One, an Air Force aircraft mechanic who repaired the Lancaster bombers to restore them after each mission back to airworthiness in an effort to perpetuate their direction at obliterating the Nazi threat.
And one who buried his own school companions on the battlefield, facing death by combat on the front lines of the Canadian Army every day from 1939 until he walked into Berlin at the end of it all in 1945. Whereupon he concluded his service by taking part in the setting free of remaining living Jews from Nazi extermination camps. They did their duty to destroy Nazism and defend the freedom of this land. They both came home damaged men. Empirical facts, eh?
To sum up, an opinion… Freedom is only a lease which accepts but one price, and that price is blood. I believe if this country, as well as the USA, doesn’t abandon it’s idiotic preoccupation with warped ideological social engineering and rabid political correctness for political gain, we’re going to lose the looming war to come, along with our freedom.
