During the annual Wainwright U9 hockey weekend tournament Feb. 12 – 13, which had teams from all over north-eastern Alberta, Joanne Andersen and her group organized the Rylin Reed Memorial Hockey Shootout Fundraiser like they have done for the past number of years. They donated $858 to KidSport Wainwright. In total, this event over the years has donated over $3,000 to KidSport to assist many children and families in the area get involved in organized sports.
