Both Provost and Cadogan Fire departments responded to two fires on Monday morning, April 18. The Cadogan fire department was called out to a fire in the pile of railway ties in town around 4 a.m. and the second fire was spotted two miles south of Cadogan in a brush at approximately 6 a.m. Cause of either is unknown at this time. Fire bans and advisories have been announced across Alberta with the high winds and dry spring causing problems. ECA Review/D. Prediger
