Tile mosaic of feelings towards 2020 created in Alix

Village of Alix community members were invited to pick up a tile and paints from Village staff last year and paint the tile in a way that shows what the year 2020 meant to them.  Families were encouraged to do this project together and have conversations about how the pandemic has made them feel as well as what things they are looking forward to. These tiles were then assembled into a beautiful mural that is now on display at the end of Alix’s Main Street. Photo by Chelsie Giesbrecht
