Three Hills Toy Drive brings in over $1,000

Written by ECA Review

The RCMP Safety Bear, Santa Claus, and a gift for the Kids Toy Drive—not a bad day for 10-year-old Josh Strom of Three Hills. He and many other young people and adults participated in the Bargain Shop and Victim Services’ cash and toy blitz Dec. 11.

Victim Services’ Director Carolyn Kung reports that well over $1,000 was donated and Three Hills and Area Food Bank President Paul Van Doren says hundreds upon hundreds of gifts, destined for Christmas hampers, were contributed.

“What a great community effort,” said Van Doren. “It will make many children happy at Christmas.”
