Three Hills RCMP execute search warrant, charge male with multiple offences

Three Hills RCMP along with RCMP Emergency Response Team and the Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit conducted a search warrant on a residence just north of Trochu, Ab. on Jan. 3, 2019.

Alfred Legacy (57) of Kneehill County, Alta., has been charged with: Obstruction, Fail to comply with Undertaking, Occupant of a motor vehicle with a firearm, Transporting a firearm carelessly, Carrying a concealed weapon, Possession of stolen property under $5,000, Flight from police, and Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose (X2).

He was released from custody on his own recognizance and will be appearing in Drumheller Provincial Court on Jan. 25, 2019.

Police seized a large amount of electronics and oilfield property that was located at the residence and are still attempting to identify the property owners.
