Three Hills and Stettler RCMP investigating robbery and break ins

RCMP are actively looking for an individual breaking into homes.

A report of a break in and robbery to a home on Range Road 235 in Kneehill County was received by RCMP on Mon. Feb. 6 at 8:09 a.m. When the homeowner confronted the suspect, the suspect held a small knife to the homeowner and fled. The homeowner received a minor cut as a result of the confrontation.

Stettler RCMP received the report of a break and enter to a home on Highway 56 in Stettler County at 9:50 a.m. on Mon. Feb. 6. The homeowner observed a suspect on their video surveillance cameras breaking into their home. The suspect stole items from the victim’s garage and fled the area.

RCMP believe that these two offences have been committed by the same individual and are asking for the public’s assistance.

The suspect is described as a male with grey hair, a fair or medium complexion who is middle aged possibly in his 40’s and was wearing a grey blue puffer jacket.

The vehicle the suspect is driving is described as an older model, single cab pick up which is red.

As the offences just occurred, officers are currently looking for the suspect and vehicle.
