Two midget, two bantom and three peewee teams were selected this past weekend in Coronation for the three C’s (Castor, Coronation and Consort) minor hockey teams said Castor Recreation Director, Loreena MacGillivray in a phone interview.
MacGillivray also confirmed that the Castor arena mechanical project has been completed and it is now up to code with ice expected in early October.
The ice will be in just in time for upcoming hockey schools scheduled to take place on Oct. 2, 3 and 4 in Castor.
The times have yet to be announced.
