The 100 Women Who Care, a group formed to ‘make a difference’ and now numbering 80, enjoyed a meal at the Halkirk Hotel on Tues. April 12 and heard three fabulous presentations including the Gus Wetter School Archery Club, Smile Like Emily and the Friends of the Brownfield Library. After the votes were tallied the group presented a cheque for $6,100 to Leanne Lougheed on behalf of the Smile Like Emily initiative to supply AEDs to outdoor recreation areas and available to the public at anytime.
