A dead cow laid beside a rollover truck along Highway 872. A young man pulling a stock trailer crashed after he went to turn the dial on the radio, said RCMP.

On Wednesday June 26, 14 miles south of Coronation, on Highway 872 the RCMP were called to a crash site at 11:15 a.m. involving a stock trailer and single vehicle rollover.
The young man driving the truck, who’s name cannot be released because charges are pending, was travelling northbound when he lost control of his truck and hit an approach causing his vehicle to partially rollover.
At the time of the accident, the man was carrying six cows and 18 calves in a stock trailer. The stock trailer ended up landing on the man’s truck after impact.
Two cows were killed in the crash.
RCMP said the young man caused the accident when he went to change the dial on his radio, which momentarily distracted him from the road.
The RCMP also said the situation could have been a lot worse and that the young man is fortunate to be alive.
