Stoltz, Albert

Stoltz – Visitation for Albert O. Stoltz, 86 was held on Sunday, February 6 at the Leonard Memorial Home in Glen Ellyn.
Funeral services were Monday, February 7 at the First United Methodist Church also in Glen Ellyn.
Born November 25, 1924 in Coronation, Alberta, to Carl A and Dorothy Stoltz.  He passed away Tuesday February 1, 2011.
Albert was a World War II veteran of the Army, serving in England and France.  He was director of quality control at Knowles Electronics, an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn, where he participated in many church organizations.  
He was a volunteer of P.A.D.S. and a member of the Chicago Torch Club and the American Society for Quality Control (ASQC).  He also loved to tend his yard and garden.

Albert is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, June (nee Haglund).  He was the loving father of Linda (Jerry) Poquette, Charles Stoltz (long time companion, Diane Deets), Roger (Shauna) Stoltz and Elizabeth Stoltz.
He was a devoted grandfather to Jesse and Signe Poquette, Perry Stoltz-Holstein and Oscar Stoltz.
Fond brother of Mary Stoltz-Jones; dear brother-in-law of Evelyn Stoltz; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and cousin and friend of many.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Oscar and Clifford Stoltz.
