Stettler Storm yields golfball sized hail

The hail storm that tore through the Town of Stettler on Tues. July 30 was found to be as large as golf balls.

Warnings from Environment Canada alerted of possible ‘nickelsized’ hail but residents soon found this not to be the case.

Accounts of ripped siding, smashed sunroofs and more have added to the large dollar figure needed for repairs.

Locals have pieced together a list of surrounding businesses for these necessary fixes which has been shared on social media.
