Stettler Regional Fire Dept. responds to brush fire

Stettler Regional Fire Department responded to a brush fire north-west of Stettler on Thursday, Sept. 6, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Two large fire trucks, as well as several volunteers and neighbours, attended the scene. The flames did travel into nearby brush and deadfall, causing the fire to spread. Nearby cattle have moved to a different pasture for the time being. Crews worked until 3:30 a.m. fighting not only this fire but another later into the night.
