Update (May 25 at 9:56 a.m.): Stettler RCMP advised that Darren Schmidt has been located safe and unharmed. RCMP would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance.

Stettler RCMP received a complaint on May 22 that Darren Schmidt had gone missing.
Schmidt was last seen leaving the Stettler hospital at 12:30 p.m.
He has declining health and hospital staff are concerned about his well being.
Schmidt does not live at a specific residence and is likely to be living on the streets in Stettler or Red Deer.
Darren is described as 5’8”, 180 pounds, balding with long grey hair and green eyes.
He goes by Bonzes as an alias.
He was last seen wearing a hospital gown and robe. No photo has been provided at this time.
