Stettler RCMP make arrests for multiple property offences

Stettler RCMP attempted to stop a vehicle, but it fled and the driver identified as 37-year-old Danial Grams of Byemoor on August 29, 2019.

Two days later, on August 31, police attended the residence of Mr. Grams and obtained a Warrant under Section 529 CC (Feeney Warrant) to enter the home and arrest Mr. Grams.

Also arrested was 18-year-old MacKenzie Hardy of Red Deer who had several arrest warrants from numerous detachment areas.

Both were remanded into custody. 

On September 4, 2019, Stettler RCMP and Blackfalds Integrated Traffic Unit members responded to a male sleeping in a vehicle near downtown Stettler.

Forty-year-old James Hall was arrested and charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle after it was determined the vehicle he was in was stolen two days prior.

On September 5, 2019, Stettler RCMP, Coronation RCMP, Blackfalds ITU and Police Dog Service (PDS) members attended a location near Halkirk regarding a stolen vehicle that had been involved in a motor vehicle collision.

Members on scene arrested 31-year-old Jayson Marshall of Stettler and a female youth from Lacombe.

The PDS located a third suspect – 48-year-old Ernest Bedore who was also arrested.

Mr. Marshall and Mr. Bedore were remanded on the strength of parole warrants for their arrest.

The investigation into the MVC continues.
