Stettler announces 2019 business, citizenship recipients

President Dave Goodwin and the Executive of the Stettler Regional Board of Trade and Community Development are pleased to announce the 2019 recipients of the Stettler Business and Citizenship Awards.

Male Citizen of the Year is Justin Tanner, Female Citizen of the Year is Tanya Derr and Youth Citizen of the Year is Jace Thorsteinsson.

Business of the Year goes to Stettler Auction Mart 2016 Ltd. while Small Business of the Year goes to Today’s Sweet Cakery.

Corporate Citizen of the Year was won by Walmart.

PatchouliMint Spa Ltd. has been named the Stettler Customer Service Award winner. Marketing Award goes to Stettler Dodge Ltd.

Stettler’s Best Kept Secret goes to Buzzed and Baked.

The Heritage Award has been given to Alberta Prairie Railway Excursions while Learning in the Workplace goes to the County of Stettler Housing Authority.

Stettler Veterinary Clinic has claimed the Eco Excellence Award.

The Stettler Awards Gala has been a celebration of our community for many years honouring the outstanding achievements of our local businesses and citizens.

The 2019 Business and Citizenship Awards Gala will be held Thurs. Oct. 24 at the Stettler Community Hall.

This year we are excited to have Mentalist Greg T. as the entertainment for the evening.
