Spilled grain caused by trespassers results in death of two cows

An unknown suspect(s) entered a rural property north of Highway 9, along Range Road 112 and opened grain bins allowing grain to spill out between March 31st, 2021 at 3 p.m. and April 1st, 2021 at 10 a.m.

The suspect(s) then opened an adjacent gate allowing nearby cattle to enter the property and feed from the spilled grain.

Two head of cattle died as a result of eating the spilled grain.

The total value of the loss is $6,800.
