Membership on the four-member appointed Board changed this past April with the departure of Daryl Swenson as representative for Special Area No. 3.
With Daryl’s term on the Board ending, Kevin Wilson was selected by Advisory Council to represent Special Area 3 on the Board.
Kevin has served on Advisory Council since 2013, representing Special Area 3 – Subdivision 6.
Kevin and his family operate a large cattle operation in the Cereal area of over 12,000 acres and 500 cattle.
Passionate about making sure communities have high-quality healthcare and local education opportunities,
Kevin brings a broad perspective from his work representing Special Areas on various boards and committees throughout the region.
Board members serve four-year terms, with terms overlapping to support continuity in the governance body.
Advisory Council is planning to meet early this summer; the Special Areas Board meets twice a month.
