Marjorie “Marge” Kathryn Ross was born to Mildred and Robert Irving on May 21, 1926 at Castor, Ab.
She passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 31, 2017 at the Sturgeon General Hospital in St. Albert, Ab. at the age of 90 years.
Marge will be sadly missed by her loving family: husband Earl Ross; daughter Sheryl Rombough and her children Dean (Tracy) Rombough and their children: Brooke, Teagan, Chase and Jaxon, Derek Rombough and Darby Rombough and his son Colton; son Bob (Maxine) Baird and their children Tom (Sandy) Baird and their son Bradley, son T.J. (Kendra) Baird and their sons: Brody, Brandyn and Jet.
Also left to mourn are Dodie (Dwight), Janna, Brianne (Lee), Charlotte, Kennedy, Gracie and Drew.
She also leaves sisters-in-law: Twila Skow and Gladys Davis; brother-in-law Gordon (Ida) Jarrett; Earl’s family: sisters-in-law Vesta King, Grace Wenzel, Blanche (Clarence) Grauman, Shirley (Al) Steinhoff, Leona Ross and Carol Ross; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Bert and Millie; brothers Gordon and Jack; first husband Tom and son-in-law Donnie.
A celebration of Marge’s life was held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Forestburg Community Hall with Sylvia Wold leading the service.
The eulogy and loving memories were presented by Peter Tschaja and Ritchie Kumar. Randy Howell shared his gift of music and song. A special video tribute was compiled and presented by Tracy Rombough.
Honourary pallbearers were all the friends and family who enriched Marge’s life, the Honour Guard were members of the Eastern Star Lodge #54.
