Ronald, Ernest “Ernie” Lenard

Ernest “Ernie” Lenard Ronald was born on June 5, 1934 in Castor, Ab. to parents Victor and Ethel Ronald.
Ernie passed away on March 30, 2017 at Wainwright, Ab. at the age of 82 years.
Ernie is survived by his loving family: wife Diane Ronald of Irma, Ab.; sons Guy (Leena) Ronald of Penang, Malaysia, Kelly Ronald (Carolin Lutyck) of Mannville; daughter Tammy Ronald of Irma; grandchildren: Adan Ronald of Calgary, Alek Ronald of Calgary and Tara (Stephen) Johnston of Edmonton; great granddaughter Riley Johnston; sisters Mamie Chulack of Biggar, Sk. and Joyce Strome of Stettler, Ab.; sister-in-law Alma of Kitchener; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of  many dear friends.
Ernie was predeceased by infant son Ricky, parents Victor and Ethel Ronald and brothers Art Ronald and Gordon Ronald.
A celebration of life for the late Ernie Ronald was held on Thurs., April 6, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the Hanna Senior Circle, Hanna, Ab. with Rev. Paul Warnock officiating.
Guy Ronald, Shirley Robertson and Lori Blake gave loving tributes.  Archie and Gerri Kittler presented their gift of music, with musician Lori Blake playing “Kawliga”.
A duet “God Must Be A Cowboy” was given by Rhonda Hayes and Myrna Mitchell.
Honourary pallbearers were all those who have touched Ernie’s life.  Urn bearer was Alek Ronald.
