The RCMP are searching for an individual breaking into homes.
A report of a break in and robbery to a home in Kneehill County on Range Rd. 235 was received on Feb. 6 at 8:09 a.m.
The homeowner who confronted the suspect had a minor result due to the confrontation since the suspect held a small knife to the homeowner before fleeing.
Later on the same day a report was received by Stettler RCMP regarding a break and enter to a home on Highway 56 in Stettler County.
The suspect was seen on the homeowners video surveillance cameras breaking into their home, stealing items from the homeowners garage before fleeing the area.
The RCMP believe that both offences were committed by the same individual and are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify the suspect.
The suspect is described as being a man, with a fair or medium complexion, middle aged with the possibility of being in his 40’s, grey hair and wearing a grey blue puffer jacket.
The vehicle the suspect is driving is an older model single cap pick up which is red.
Officers are still actively looking for the suspect and the vehicle.
