Richelhoff, Victor Alexander

Written by ECA Review

After a long and courageous battle Victor Alexander Richelhoff passed away on Sept. 8, 2017 surrounded by love, at the age of 71 years.
Victor was born on Sept. 19, 1945 at Kerrobert, Sk. to parents Bertha and Frederick Richelhoff.
Victor married the love of his life on Dec. 30, 1966 in Donalda, Ab.; they were blessed with one daughter.
He leaves behind a large loving family and many dear friends.
Victor was a hard worker; he plowed snow, worked on the oil rigs, for CN Railroad, at the Donalda Creamery and was Deputy Mayor of Donalda for a time, was on numerous committees in various capacities, but he truly loved farming, the cattle, his horses and his dog.
Victor enjoyed trail riding, rodeo and chuckwagons, snowmobiling, curling, camping, 4-H, the Light Horse Association and being Barb’s dance partner.
Victor was always able to lend a helping hand to a neighbour, a friend and above all else his family.
He had a rough road over the past 10 plus years, but never gave up; he still farmed, drove, ran cattle and visited those who he cared deeply for.
He touched so many lives, his laughter and larger than life presence will live on in his family and the memories he has left behind.
Heaven has another angel. Rest peacefully.
Victor is survived by his loving family: wife Barb Richelhoff of Donalda; daughter Lynnette Richelhoff (Ed) of Spruce Grove; granddaughter Rachael; brothers and sister: Vern (Jean) of Halkirk and their son Kevin, Jearold of Forestburg and his children Tammy (Mike) and Russell (Trish), Mervin (Evelyn) of Tramping Lake, Sk. and their sons Richie (Ana), Merlyn, Murray (Claire), Clifford (Anna) of Calgary and their daughters Deanna (Greg) and Breanna, Ken (Kim) of Calgary and their sons Kris (Tara) and Kyle (Jamie), Wayne (Heather) of Calgary and their daughters Tara and Jodi, Linda Meckelberg of Calgary and her daughters Kristal (Aaron) and Nicole (Dean), Glen (Shirley) of Calgary and their sons Jason and Jessie, Perry (Michelle) of Calgary; brothers and sister-in-law: Lyle (Pauline) Gold of Kinosota, Mb. and their daughters Lorrie and Lottie, Gordon Gold of Yorkton, Sk. and his sons Eddie, Kenny, Tommy and Ricky, Kathy (Wayne) Doll of Goodlow, BC and their sons Darrel, Glen and Clayton.
