MDs/Counties
County of Paintearth
According to their mobile app, “There was a tremendous turnout for the Municipal Elections in Division 4 and Division 5 along with the Senate and Referendum Votes.”
Terry Vockeroth took the victory in Division 4 with 62 votes while Doreen Blumhagen received 36 votes.
Maurice Wiart won Division 5 through a tiebreaker against Dwayne Felzien who both received 59 votes originally.
In accordance with Section 99 Equal Number of Votes of the Local Authorities Election Act, both names were placed in a receptacle and the name Wiart was drawn according to the municipality.
MD of Acadia
Six people ran for council within the MD of Acadia including Scott Heeg, incumbent Ronald Hoyt, Lesley Neilson, Tim Peers, Peter Rafa and Aaron Skappak.
Unofficially elected is Heeg (122 votes), Hoyt (110), Peers (145), Rafa (100), Skappak (138).
163 out of 415 eligible voters turned out.
Camrose County
In Division 1, Carl Craig Bergstrom beat out Karen Forster and Kassandra Spruyt.
In Division 3, Tina Sroka won against Ernie Bertschi, Lynne Jenkinson and Corey Szott.
In Division 4, Donald Simpson won against Angie Debogorski and Bernadette Masson.
In Division 5, Carlene Wetthuhn won against Robert Lee and Brian Willoughby.
In Division 6, Jordon Banack won against Kael Crichton and Joel Hein.
In Division 7, Douglas Lyseng has been elected against John Girvan.
Flagstaff County
Division 2 and Division 6 of Flagstaff County headed to the polls to determine a councillor.
Mat Ponto (elected) received 131 votes while Jeanette Herle received 71 in Division 2.
Larry Hiller (elected) gained 70 votes and Kelsey Ness had 66 in Division 6.
Erik Koberg withdrew from the election in Division 6 beforehand.
Special Areas
Special Area No. 3 – Subdivision 4 (Oyen-New Brigden): Erika Tessier (Elected) garnered 29 votes while Travis Foot had 25 votes.
Special Area No. 4 – Subdivision 3 (Kirriemuir, Altario, Compeer): Douglas Noble (Elected) had 55 votes while James Laitinen had 12 votes.
Special Areas No 3 – Subdivision 5 (Youngstown-Cereal) has been acclaimed by John Michael Kimber.
Starland County
In Ward 1 (Delia), Mark Landry (elected) received 75 votes while Kelly Fitzpatrick received 24 votes.
In Rumsey’s Ward 4, Incumbent Jackie Watts garnered 107 votes being elected again.
Ian Herd received 22 votes while Michael McKee gained 94 votes.
Wheatland County
In Division 1, Shannon Laprise (elected) garnered 147 votes. Erich Hoff gained 87 votes, Allen Grant MacLennan had 42 and Janet Kanters-Shmorong had 20.
Scott Klassen (elected) received 428 votes winning Division 5 against Brenda Knight who had 120 votes.
In Division 6, incumbent Glenn Koester (elected) received 253 votes, Rex Harwood had 56 and Ginette Motta had 18.
In Division 7, Rick Laursen (elected) received 140 votes, Einar Davison had 60 and Herb McLane 46.
Kneehill County
In Kneehill County’s election incumbent Debbie Penner defeated challenger Christopher Morton in Division 2 by a count of 127 votes to 68. In Division 4 incumbent Glen Keiver was defeated by challenger Carrie Fobes by a vote count of 86 to 72. In Division 5 incumbent Jim Hugo was defeated by challenger Laura Lee Machell-Cunningham by a vote count of 130 to 87. In Division 7 incumbent Ken King defeated challenger Lonnie McCook by a count of 138 to 131.
Also running in Kneehill County Division 4 was Ric McInnis (39) and Division 5 Robert Park (41).
Other divisions were uncontested.
County of Stettler
Unofficial results for the County of Stettler election are: Ward 2 Big Valley Dave Grover (110), Ward 3 Botha-Gadsby Larry Clarke (188 votes), Ward 4 Erskine South Warden James Nibourg (172 votes), Ward 5 Stettler Ernie Gendre (126 votes) and Ward 6 Erskine Buffalo Lake Justin Stevens (242 votes).
Also running in Stettler County Ward 2 were Lance Neilson (82), Terry Schiffner (18) and Dustan Wawzkiewicz (97), Ward 3 Dianne Baird (122), Ward 4 Earl Marshall (78), Ward 5 Sarina Gosse (40), Wanda Niehaus (70) and Jeremy Verhoeven (91), Ward 6 were Justin Stevens (242), Cheri Neitz (115).
Other wards were uncontested.

Drumheller
In the three-person race for Mayor of Drumheller, incumbent Heather Colberg (elected) garnered 1,446 votes equivalent to 54 per cent while Mark Chung gained 1,117 votes equal to 42 per cent.
Edmund Almond received 93 votes equal to four per cent of the total vote.
As for the remaining six seats for council, Lisa Hansen-Zacharuk (1,559 votes), Crystal Sereda (1,534), Tom Zariski (1,377) Patrick Kolafa (1,376), Tony Lacher (1,261) and Stephanie Price (1114) have been elected
Grant Bergos, Ralph Veenhuis, Jade Scott, Curt Ewing and Anthony Miglecz were outvoted.
Hanna
Elected include: Sandra Beaudoin, Brass Campion, Fred Crowle, Sandra C. Murphy, Kyle Olsen and Angie Warwick.
Danny Povaschuk has been acclaimed as mayor as of Oct. 4.

Three Hills
Raymond Wildeman (elected) received 670 votes for the position of mayor while Jeannette Austin received 429.
Elected to council include Byrne Lammle (851 votes), Dennis Hazelton (803), Marilyn Sept (755) Miriam Kirk (517), Danny Gascon (465) and Terry Ann Diack (341).
Trochu
Elected in the Town of Trochu were Bill Cunningham (275 votes), Jenny Lyver (273), Chris Armstrong (262), Barry Kletke (245), Jamie Martel (219), Chris Reeds (210) and Cheryl Lumley (191). Trochu had 354 votes cast which equals 44 per cent of eligible voter turn out.
Also running in Trochu were Gerard Proudfoot (157) and Blue Tripp (79).
Wainwright
Bruce Pugh has been elected at 1,324 votes for mayor.
