RCMP searching for wanted Delburne man

UPDATE (Oct. 5 at 12:06 p.m.):

Ian Cameron turned himself in to the Innisfail RCMP Detachment.

He was released after a judicial hearing and will be appearing on Nov. 13, 2020 in Drumheller Provincial Court.

As this matter is now before the courts, no further updates are anticipated.

Three Hills RCMP are asking the public assistance in locating a wanted male in relation to an incident that occurred on Sept. 8, 2020. 

It is alleged that when an adult male and adult female were traveling from Calgary to Delburne, the female occupant was held against her will and subsequently assaulted.  

Police have not been able to locate the male and have obtained a warrant for his arrest. 

Ian Bruce Cameron (34) of Delburne, Alta., is wanted for unlawful confinement, assault causing bodily harm and fail to comply with release order (x2).

Ian Cameron is described as Caucasian; 5’7” tall / 154 lbs; Blonde hair and brown eyes.

Ian Cameron’s current whereabouts are unknown.

Three Hills RCMP are asking the public’s assistance for any information in identifying his whereabouts.
