RCMP arrest male in stolen vehicle

Drumheller RCMP received a complaint of a stolen motor vehicle from a residence in Drumheller on Oct. 18 at approximately 7 a.m.
Later that afternoon, officers located the stolen vehicle and the driver was arrested for possession of stolen property.

Darcy Ewing (51), a resident of Drumheller, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, three charges for possession under $5,000 and break-in tools; failing to comply with a release order, and driving while suspended.

Following a judicial interim release hearing, Ewing was remanded into custody. He will appear in Airdrie Provincial Court on Nov. 3, 2022.

Armed robbery
Three Hills RCMP received a 911 call for a robbery with a firearm at a residence in Delburne, Alta. on Oct. 23 at approximately 7 a.m.
Two males wearing masks allegedly entered the residence and each pointed a handgun at the victims. Both males left through the back door of the residence.

One suspect is described as 5’8” – 5’11”, dark hair, slim build, tattoo under left eye and wearing a black hoody, sweatpants and a black scarf.
The second suspect is described as 5’8” – 5’11”, blonde hair, slim build, wearing a black hoody, sweatpants and a black scarf.
