The Travis Winquist Memorial Bronc Ride was held on August 24 and organizer Bart Winquist is happy with how it went. He said that with the half inch of rain on Friday afternoon, plenty of people came out to watch the events. Winquist estimated there were 800 people in the crowd and added that the dance went until 3 a.m.

He has been holding the bronc ride for 10 years, but six years ago changed the title to be a memorial when his little brother passed away.
