Provost RCMP responded to a fatal head-on collision involving a car and semi-tractor on Highway 13 and Range Road 43 on June 12, 2019 at approximately 1:40 p.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed the eastbound car crossed the lane and collided head-on with a westbound semi-tractor.
Tragically, the 74-year-old male driver and an 81-year-old passenger of the car from Kitchener, Ontario were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The semi-tractor driver was not injured.
Traffic was rerouted for several hours while Provost RCMP and a collision analyst investigated.
Our thoughts are with the family of the deceased at this time.
The names of the deceased will not be released and no further updates are anticipated.
