Prairie Land School Division unveils Neutral Hills Wranglers Baseball Academy in Veteran

What happens when you cross a baseball training program and a curling rink? The Wranglers Baseball Academy fieldhouse! Prairie Land School Division held their grand opening of the new academy at the Prairie Land Training Centre and Fieldhouse in Veteran,  Alta. on Thurs. June 25 where visitors were given a tour and some celebratory cake as they soaked in their surroundings. This facility was converted from the old curling rink that had been out of use for a few years. The academy, thought of by Kevin Van Lagen and then followed through by program director Drew Boyer and others has led to this moment where hopes of running a successful program filled with locals and out-of-towners will bring vitality to the region through increased student volume.
