Four students from Prairie Land School Division will be part of a team of 32 student archers on the Canadian National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) all-star team who will travelling to the Africa Genesis Archery (AGA) World Tournament in Limpopo, South Africa July 26 – 30. Sean Murphy (left) from Altario School, Vance Laughlin from Youngstown School and Holly (left) and Natalie Karg from JC Charyk School in Hanna will be competing with the Canadians against archers from four countries in southern Africa. NASP is gaining popularity around the world. It is a great fit for small schools in rural communities as teams can consist of any number of students throughout Grades 4 – 12. The leadership and teamwork between different ages of students that this program offers is conducive to strengthening bonds in schools. ECA Review/Submitted
