Possession of a prohibited weapon

Consort RCMP initiated a traffic stop on Fri. Nov. 11 in Consort, Ab.  Subsequent investigation led to the seizure of a loaded, prohibited firearm.
Nathanael Habte (27) of Vermilion, Ab. has been arrested and charged in this matter.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.

Break and enter
Coronation RCMP are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspect(s) responsible for a mischief/break and enter and theft of six commercial space Ruffneck heaters stolen from a storage building in a secured compound at SK Welding sometime between the end of August and Sept. 27.
Unknown suspect(s) cut a hole in the fence along the north side of Techmation’s yard next to the old railway bed in Coronation sometime between the evening of Nov. 8 and early morning Nov. 9. The suspects then stole an unknown quantity of copper wire.

Suspect identified
With assistance from the members of the public and our media partners, a suspect has been identified in relation to the Oct. 4 break and enter to the Shell gas station in Stettler where $5900 worth of tobacoo products was stolen.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 21 yr. old Jessica Mahoney of Red Deer for a number of charges including break and enter.
Stettler RCMP would like to extend their appreciation to the members of the public who assisted in identifying the suspect in this incident.
