BryanPhilpBryan James Philp passed away in Coronation, AB on December 14, 2012 at the age of 60.
Bryan was born on February 17, 1952 in Swift Current, SK.  He was raised there and attended Swift Current Comprehensive High School.  In 1975, he met Sherry Biegler and later married her on October 8, 1977.  They had three daughters, Jessica Marie, Tara Lynn (Shane), and Kayla Marie Lynn, and four granddaughters, Stephanie Marie Lynn, Makenna Marie Lynn, Tanis Elizabeth Sandra and Brooklyn Jean.
Bryan’s main enjoyment in life was his family. He loved to watch them in the many activities they were involved in, especially dancing.  He had many close friends in and around the Coronation area.
Bryan was predeceased by his father, James Philp and his mother, Velma Philp.
He is lovingly remembered by his family Sherry, Jessica, Tara (Shane), Kayla, his grandchildren and his three brothers, Todd Philp (Carol), Sheldon Philp (Tammy) and Darwyn Philp and his many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

The memorial service for Bryan was held at the Coronation Community Centre, Coronation, AB on December 20, 2012 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Terry Belcourt officiating.  Barbie and Margaret Evans played for the congregational hymns with Tracey Twa and Paula Kobi as leaders of song. Shane Lutz shared the eulogy and Tristan Norton read the scriptures. A video tribute presentation was played during the service. The service ended with everyone saying “The Lord’s Prayer”. The urn bearer was Orville Smith, the interment will take place in Swift Current, SK. Lunch was prepared and served by the Evangelical Free Church Ladies.
