Tyler Neil Pals was born March 6, 1987, in Castor, Ab. at Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital.

Tyler came into this world with one of life’s hurdles.

He was born with Cerebral Palsy.

Tyler was the middle child of Philip and Shelly Pals.

Tyler attended Gus Wetter School where he was included in the activities at the school with the help of teacher aides over the years.

After Tyler graduated high school, he moved into his new home that Philip and Shelly purchased and renovated into the Group Home, where he lived with Katie and John for almost 11 years.

He was well cared for by his group home family.

Tyler enjoyed seeing many visitors at his home including the many visits from his sisters and his two nieces.

On Dec. 21, 2018 Tyler lost a battle to pneumonia.

He is survived by his parents Philip and Shelly Pals, his older sister Stacy and her husband Anthony and nieces Aislyn and Bethany, his younger sister Jill and her husband Jordan and Tyler’s newest niece Kaylee, his grandparents Margo Pals and Dennis and Betty Filipenko and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tyler was predeceased by his grandpa Francis (Bud) Pals.

A funeral service for Tyler Pals was held on Fri. Dec. 28, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Knox United Church, Castor, Ab. with Reverend Barbara Zimmerman officiating.

Tyler was laid to rest in the Columbarium, Castor Municipal Cemetery in Castor, Ab. Donations in memory of Tyler may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital Auxiliary – New Handi-Van Fund c/o Parkview Funeral Chapels & Crematorium, P.O. Box 186, Castor, Ab. T0C 0X0, who were entrusted with the care and funeral arrangements.
