Vehicles shuttled from Norris’s old location to their new highway junction location bring the dealership to life. ECA Review/D. Peterkin
There has been a few delays with the project, but the week of August 17 the Norris Ford Dealership in Wainwright began their move into their new 28,000 sq. foot facility.
“We’re still waiting to get our computers and phones online,” said Blair Pizzey, general sales manager, “but you can see it really coming together nicely,” on Thurs., Aug. 20.
The enthusiasm among the Norris team was evident with every gruelling task that they embarked on. Over 450 sets of customers winter tires; transferred in a old dry-van trailer, and hand balmed onto lifts for storage until customers trade in their summer tread for winter; a free service that Norris proudly offers their customers.
“Never expected this free service to be so much work,” Pizzey states with some sarcasm as he lifts the tires with some rims from the trailer deck to the ground on Fri., Aug. 21. Pizzey told the ECA Review that there were plans in the works for early September to announce the re-opening of the dealership at the new location. In the meantime they are open for business and proudly located at the junction of Highway 14 and 41.
