No need for speed: Kneehill County peace officer finds vehicle going 163km/hr

Written by ECA Review

A Kneehill County Peace Officer was patrolling on Highway 583 just west of Three Hills when the officer observed a vehicle that appeared to be travelling at a high rate of speed on June 24 around 12 p.m.

The vehicle was confirmed to be travelling at 163km/hr in a 100km/hr zone.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver was issued a mandatory court summons.

Kneehill County would like to remind the public to please slow down and respect the rules of the road.

Travelling at these speeds not only puts yourself at risk but also jeopardizes the safety and well-being of others.
