The Valley Alpine Ski Club hosted their annual ski race at the Valley Ski Hill on Sat. March 19.  There was a total of 92 racers between the ages of four and 15 years, with competitors from both the Battle River Alpine Club and the Valley Alpine Ski Club.

The race was a huge success under sunshine, blue skies, and no wind.  It was fun for all!  Many volunteers helped organize, setup the course, and run the race.  A lunch for all the racers was provided.

It was great to see the improvements the kids have made to their skiing skills during the season and to see how competitive each and every racer is.

What a memorable day for all the racers, their parents, and grandparents who came out to watch.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
