The Veteran Full Gospel Church held an induction service for their new pastor, Paul Berube on Sun. June 5.

He and his wife Maureen, along with four of their seven children, have moved to Veteran from Marwayne, Ab.

“All my Christian life I have felt the call to full time ministry,” said Paul, “and have felt the most at home when I’m busy doing just that.”

We are pleased that he is being obedient to God’s calling on his life, which has brought him to Veteran.

Pastor Dave Wicks, Regional Director for Apostolic Church of Pentecost (ACOP) led the induction service, along with words of welcoming from Deryk Thulien on behalf of the community and congregation and Clay Gilmer on behalf of the church board.

As well, former pastor, Darrel Durksen passed the baton onto Paul and encourages us all “To support our new pastor and his wife and family, just like you all have done for Pat and I throughout the 11 years I pastored here.”

Welcome Paul and Maureen, we wish you all the best!
