They are seasoned musicians, song writers and singers in their own right.
They have been known to open for several high profile performers but more renowned as the opening act for Gary Fjellgaard.
The Delarondes entertained to a warm and attentive crowd in Forestburg as they played several of their original songs as well as some songs made popular by other artists.
Their performance was filled with humour, storytelling and musical flare.
“We host these events to give back to the community,” said Marj Lunty, president of the Golden Age Club. “Our desire is to showcase our centre and provide an evening of good entertainment.”
Doreen Herle of Forestburg won a Great Plains CD entitled “Bluebird Trail” which pays homage to prairie life.
The evening concluded with attendees enjoying a chat over coffee and dessert donated by the Golden Age Club.
