Multiple award-winners in lineup of annual ‘Come by the Hills’ Music Festival

‘Come by the Hills’ Music Festival continues its tradition as a unique, family friendly festival that showcases a wide variety of talented and award-winning artists under an amazing prairie sky.
This year’s line-up is exceptional, and is sure to please music fans of genres from country, folk, blues to classic rock.
Highlights of this year’s lineup include:
Paul Reddick – 2017 Juno Award winning Blues artist for Best Canadian Blues Album
Aaron Goodvin – Canadian country music star with current hit “Lonely Drum” on Canadian charts
Sweet Alibi – This pop/folk band was nominated for two Canadian music awards this past fall including nomination for 2016 “Vocal Group of the Year” by the Canadian Folk Music Awards
Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts – Well known and respected Juno-award winning classic rock band
The Dungarees- Nominated for “Group of the Year” at the 2015 and 2016 Alberta Country Music Awards and performer at many marquee music festivals.
The festival is located at the picturesque Mistahiya Retreat Centre between Vermilion and Wainwright, this former ski hill is the perfect venue to experience live music in a relaxed and friendly environment.
‘Come by the Hills’ offers all the amenities of larger music festivals, such as on-site camping, food vendors, beer/beverage tent and top quality talent, but without high ticket prices or long lines.
The event organizers are committed to creating an intimate, laid back environment that showcases folk and country performers that shine under the open skies – rain or shine.
The festival features a covered seating area, so attendees are comfortable no matter what the weather might bring.
