It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, aunt and friend Lee Muhlbeier in Castor, Ab. at the age of 87 years.
Lee was born in Coronation Hospital to Clara and Charles Embree.
She will be fondly remembered for her friendliness, knitting, singing, colouring and love of her family.
Lee and Frank were married June 15, 1950 and started their life together farming, where she enjoyed gardening, canning, knitting, baking and spending time with family, friends and neighbours in the community.
Lee leaves to mourn her loving children Robert (Marilyn) Muhlbeier, Ken Muhlbeier, Wayne Muhlbeier, Judy (Larry) Pals, Fred Muhlbeier, Carol (John) MacNeil, Brenda Gebhardt, Dianne (Patrick) Page, Darcy (Tracy Quinlan) Muhlbeier;.
She also leaves her grandchildren: Greg, Roberta (Michael), Teri, Dean, Travis (Elizabeth), Ryan (Laura), Colin (Lisa), Sean, Melissa, Leanne, Christopher and Rebecca and many great grandchildren.
She leaves her brother-in-law Charlie (Erma) Muhlbeier, sister-in-law Julie Gullekson; nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends.
Lee was predeceased by her parents Clara and Charles Embree, her husband Frank Muhlbeier, sister Ione Swanson, brothers Orville Embree and Arthur Embree, son-in-law Andy Gebhardt and grandson Jarrett Gebhardt.
Services will take place on Thurs. April 6, with the interment service at Castor Cemetery, Castor, Ab. at 12 for anyone wishing to attend, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Evangelical Missionary Church, Castor at 2 p.m.
