Milestone birthday

Joe Lang celebrated a milestone birthday of 105 years on Nov. 12, 2019.

He was born Nov. 12, 1914 in Saskatchewan and has lived in Alberta his entire adult life.

He married Lorraine Matier in 1942 and together they farmed in the Gadsby/Westwoods district until retirement when he and his wife moved to Stettler in 2008.

Joe has enjoyed playing all over central Alberta as a drummer for the Harold Simon’s Orchestra, playing for many many weddings, New Year’s dances and more.

In 2010, the pair moved to Paragon Place where Joe still resides.

He has been blessed with a great memory and good health and is always found visiting with friends and family and adores spending precious time with them all.

He looks forward to and loves being with his three sons, their wives, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
