Scott Herbert Meyer
1933 – 2020

Scott Herbert Meyer passed away on Sept. 12, 2020 at the age of 86. 

Scott was born Nov. 7, 1933 to Kathleen and Peter Meyer in Coronation, Alta. 

He was a younger brother to Basil (Alma) and Claude (Hilda). 

On Nov. 23, 1957 Scott married Elsie Stickel. 

Through the years Scott worked at many jobs including dray delivery man, milkman, school bus driver, provincial building superintendent, CPR, numerous janitorial jobs, raising cattle and Pop Shoppe owner. 

His hobbies included hunting, curling, bowling and spending time with his horses and dogs. 

He was a member of the Coronation Volunteer Fire Department, eventually serving as Fire Chief. 

Scott is survived by his wife Elsie; three children: Darlene Schedlosky, Connie (Steve) Montgomery and Darcy (Jerri) Meyer; grandchildren Candace (Tyrone) Schmidt, Ryan (Stacey) Schedlosky, Justin (Angela) Schedlosky, Brooke Schedlosky, Adam (Kelly) Montgomery, Stephenie (Jason) Towers, Christine (Dave) Walsh; great-grandchildren: Dane and Brady Schmidt, Britt and Kate Schedlosky, Brody and Kennon Schedlosky, Rylan, Reece and Raya Montgomery, Mya and Cooper Towers, Kylie and Adysen Walsh. 

Scott is predeceased by his parents, brothers and their wives, and son-in-law Ken Schedlosky. 

Funeral services will be held at a later date. 

Condolences may be sent to the family at Memorial donations in Scott’s memory may be made to the Coronation Hospital. Parkview Funeral Chapels & Crematorium entrusted with the care and funeral arrangements. 403-882-3141.
