Mary Lee passed away on June 10, 2017 at the Joseph Creek Care Village in Cranbrook, BC at 82 years of age.
Mary was born on Sept. 16, 1934 in Coronation, Ab. to Wallace and Annie McComish.
She completed her secondary education at Prairie High School in Three Hills, Ab. and went on to study at Berean Bible Institute in Calgary. Mary had an unwavering faith in God.
Mary and Jack Lee were married on March 30, 1960 in Coronation. They moved to Cutberth, Sk. where Jack took up post as a grain buyer for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool.
They eventually retired in Lacombe, Ab. but had stops in Tyner, Snipe Lake, Eston, and Saskatoon, Sk. along the way.
A consummate mother and homemaker, Mary always had something baking in the oven, whether it was bread, a cake, or her famous date cookies.
She was proud of her boys and happy to hear them play their instruments, do well in school, attend church and summer Bible camp, and play games and have fun.
Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Jack. She was also predeceased by her two brothers Arden and Ronald McComish.
She is survived by her sister Margaret Ward, brother-in-law Ray Ward, and her sisters-in-law Arla (Richardson) Schaitel, Muggie (Lee) Gunderson, Shirley (Comfort) Lee; and her five sons, their wives, and children: Myron and Debbie and their daughter Stephanie (Chicago, IL); Harley and Katherine and their children Madison, Hayden, Teagan, and Hunter (Cranbrook, BC); Nolan and Bonnie and their children Derek, Tavis and Jaxon (Ponoka, Ab.); Blair and Kim and their sons Hudson and Maguire (Seoul, Korea); Craig and Amy and their son Jed (Olds, Ab.).
