Dear Editor,
I am deeply concerned about Danielle Smith, Premier of Alberta, as she aligns herself with Donald Trump and threatens a “national unity crisis.” Such rhetoric raises serious questions about her loyalty to our country.
Treason is a grave offense in both Canada and the USA, with severe consequences. In Canada, it can lead to life imprisonment, while in the USA, it can result in death or significant prison time. Threatening national unity undermines our democratic institutions and social fabric.
Our leaders must be held accountable for actions that jeopardize the stability and unity of our nation.
