The County of Lacombe approved the following funding applications for community programs, events and activities at their regular Feb. 9 meeting.
The Village of Alix for Alix Days, $1,000; Village of Clive for Clive FunFest, $1,000; Tees Agricultural Society Spring Chili Cook-off and Bingo, $270 and $275 for the Christmas Concert and Carol Festival.
The Mirror Skating Rink Society will receive $1,000 for the New Year’s Eve Celebration.
The Mirror Recreation Society will receive $450 for a Street Dance, $945 for the Christmas Celebration, $610 for the Children’s Halloween Party/Haunted House and $885 for the Easter/Spring Celebration.
