Killam Health Centre emergency department (ED) will be temporarily closed due to lack of physician coverage from Friday, Oct. 8 at 5 p.m. to Tue. Oct. 12 at 8 a.m.
This is a temporary measure and Covenant Health is working to ensure local residents continue to have access to the care they need during this time.
Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.
Other Emergency Departments include Daysland health centre 30km away and Viking Health Center 40km away.
Residents are reminded to call Health Link at 811 which is available 24/7 for non-emergency, health-related questions.
