Clarence Arvill Johnson passed away on June 18, 2020 at the age of 94 years.

After R.C.A.F. and Tech. Schools, Clarence worked as a machinist.

In 1949, Bernice and Clarence came to Stettler as newlyweds where Clarence started work at Modern Machine Shop until 1972.

He became part owner in 1956.

During this time they raised a family of three sons and one daughter.

In 1977, they sold out all their business interests in Stettler Machine Shop and retired.

They spent retirement travelling and enjoying their families and friends.

They are survived by children: Val and family of Australia, Glen and family of Australia, Judith and family of Stettler and Wade and family of Thrums (Castlegar) B.C.; special granddaughter Amy and family of Stettler; many other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his wife Bernice Lillian.

They will be laid to rest together at the Rowley Cemetery, near Rowley, Alta. where Clarence was born in August 1925.

At Clarence’s request, there will be no service.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rowley Historical Society or a charity of your choice.
